The Dojima Ohashi bridge is illuminated in the sunset and evening hours in a color that gradually switches between incandescent coloring and pure white every 30 minutes in consideration of the quiet surrounding environment. The illumination takes advantage of the bridge’s elegant steel structure and stone arch. As an entrance to Osaka, Western Japan’s largest city and known as the city of water, the bridge will be illuminated in various colors when a ship passes underneath or to welcome visitors when an event takes place.
